MARYVILLE, TN, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — MicroTouch, a leading provider of touch solutions for retail and hospitality environments, today announced the expanded availability of integrated NFC Tap to Pay on its Mach™ Android 15.6-inch and 21.5-inch All-in-One touch computers. Featuring EMV Level 1-certified NFC integrated behind the glass, the offering enables secure contactless payments directly at the point of interaction without the need for an external payment device.

The Mach Android 15.6-inch and 21.5-inch All-in-One computers are known for reliability and flexibility in demanding commercial environments. The NFC reader is discreetly integrated behind the terminal glass, delivering a clean, modern design while meeting the security and compliance requirements of today’s payment environments. The reader uses the native Android command interface to easily integrate with leading SoftPOS providers.

“Tap to Pay is quickly becoming an expectation—not an option—in retail and hospitality,” said Gary Dalton, Director of Product Management at MicroTouch. “By embedding EMV-certified NFC directly behind the glass, we’re giving customers a platform that supports secure contactless payments without compromising design, durability, performance or counter space. Integrated NFC also reduces acquisition and support costs, helping to improve the bottom line.”

Unlike separate external payment devices, MicroTouch’s behind-the-glass Tap to Pay sensor allows ISV partners to improve the checkout process by guiding users on card placement for ease of use. The integrated design also enhances security because a fraudulent external reader cannot be placed over the terminal glass to skim consumer payment data.

The Mach All-in-One with NFC also supports PIN on Glass, allowing users to enter a PIN directly on the touchscreen without a separate keypad when required.

The result is a full-featured, versatile POS and payment platform that adapts easily to a wide range of use cases, from traditional checkout to self-service kiosks. The expanded offering builds on the integrated payment capabilities previously introduced on MicroTouch’s Mach POS platform, extending behind-the-glass NFC across additional Mach Android All-in-One configurations.
