DARIEN, Conn.: Alethe Fatherley, a licensed life insurance professional, today announced the launch of FutureReadyLegacy, a Darien-based practice that helps individuals, families, and business owners plan for protection and retirement through term life insurance, permanent life insurance (including whole life and indexed universal life), and annuities as part of its range of financial protection options.
“For years, I helped people understand the value of fine jewelry. Today, I help families understand the value of protection and building their legacy,” said Fatherley.
Fatherley spent more than a decade in luxury fine jewelry and is a GIA Graduate Gemologist. She later worked in human resources and holds a master’s degree in human resource management from Sacred Heart University. That background shaped her focus on workplace coverage: many families rely on life insurance through an employer, which may not follow them if they change jobs. FutureReadyLegacy offers life insurance workshops for employers, chambers of commerce, libraries, and community groups, and organizations can request one through the website.
“I never like to assume people already know what life insurance is,” Fatherley said. “I start with the basics, listen to what matters to them, and build from there.”
Fatherley has lived in Fairfield for 17 years. She is an elected alternate on the Fairfield Zoning Board of Appeals, volunteered on the town’s Economic Development Committee, and serves on the board of Horizons GFA, which supports children in Bridgeport.
She is licensed in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Georgia (license #19187095) and works with multiple carriers through The Vermont Agency, partnered with National Life Group.
